Service was friendly but overwhelmed. Food was a little disappointing. Gastraum unfortunately not a nice place to eat. Not recommendable:(

A good inn. Great room.

The inn is only open from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., but an appealing menu for the short time. The terrace offers a wonderful view of the Großer Arber and the Bavarian Forest. That was yesterday. Today all the tables had signs - "For house guests only!" Pity!

Very bad everything about staying overnight. Food is mediocre

We were here 3 years ago and the food was very good. This time, however, disappointing across the board. I am certainly not demanding, but this is the first time I have not touched a meal. Furthermore, everything makes a very unkempt impression, so you can't lure anyone behind the stove today.

I can't judge service and quality. I refer to the other reviewers in this regard. But I would decide against booking there alone, since the house seems to have a dog that is housed in a kennel in front of the house that is far too small and barks constantly and without apparent reason and barks at any time of the day or night. The poor animal appears to be completely spoiled or not raised at all. Apparently nobody cares! Not recommended!!!

Recommended for short overnight stays, breakfast is plentiful and you can also eat well in the evening.

A good breakfast but messy and neglected around the house a day's work and everything would be ok but so ??? Is it not possible for Bavarian to vacuum the room for long in 4 days or to wipe the tiles in the bathroom?

Booking problems and in the restaurant a lot of drinks were no longer "there". Not nice

It's beautiful there but we were there in February because it was busy in Arber Alm. Czech is spoken there.

The second time here and a third time already booked every year

Although we were only advised not to go there, we tried it anyway. Since we have known the restaurant for 4 holidays, we could not believe that it should have gone bad. And what should I say. It was just like always. We had a puff soup in advance. And as main courses the salad, the liver cheese and DEN Cambert 😁 We just can't say anything bad. Very good and keep it up 😍👌

We stayed here for 3 nights with 3 people. Overall it was a nice stay. The room was unfortunately a bit small for 3 people, and the furniture is a bit old. The double beds were very noisy and creaked with every movement, the third bed was very hard. The bathroom is old and small and the toilet seat only stayed up with a lot of patience, which was a bit annoying. The room's balcony was nice with a great view of the Arber. The owner is also very nice and you can tell that a lot of effort is made as a host! The breakfast was small but nice. Everything you need for breakfast was available. Even homemade cake. Unfortunately only Aufbackbrötchen, but the bread was delicious. Uncomplicated check in and check out. We would come back, maybe ask for a bigger room :)

Hostel that lacks charm. No particular character. Low-level breakfast with oven-warmed bread and cold cuts out of its plastic wrapping. Quiet place and air for guaranteed.

Called ahead to make reservations. Called again to say we would be late due to a snow storm. Called again to be able to get into the place and was hung up on. Finally got into place at 10 pm... and he was rude and gave us one room 4 adults said too bad...find out in am there was other rooms available for rent out. Breakfast was ok. Served later than usual times in a hotel but still nice. Price was high. No wifi avail. Was a first experience for my husband in Germany. Clean but Sad face for hotel but the area was 100% the views, breathtaking.

Nice, good atmosphere, authentic. Especially also, Czech-German. The food was ok too. There in the corner you should also ask, which is delicious. Salad in winter is not recommended there. But roast pork or cheese spaetzle. Beer is not bad either

Very nice host, dinner delicious. Portions could be larger. Beds are noisy and not very comfortable. Like the pillows. However OK for 1-2 nights. Very good, you can only book one night here. That's a rarity. Wi-Fi very fast. Rooms are quite different. Some with a large bathroom, some with a tiny bathroom without a window. Free parking and very good location. Because of the beds 1 star deduction. Nevertheless, a recommendation.
